The main hallways of the Mohonk Arts facility are lined with thousands of books, which are present as a function of The Books Trust, a non-partisan, non-sectarian entity whose purpose is to accumulate and disseminate new and used books to worthy and needy individuals and organizations.

Toward this end, visitors to the Daniela Passal Galleries are invited to peruse the aisles of books at their leisure. Donations are welcome (but not required), and visitors are welcome to select books of interest to take with them, at no charge.
